Book to experience the vineyard and the wines
A warm welcome awaits when you book onto a Beacon Down vineyard tour. We are very family-friendly and encourage engagement from all ages with the vineyard and farming practices.
Led by the owners you will be taken on a journey from the transformation of the site previously used for sheep grazing and hay production to the beautiful vineyard we have today.
The tour is relaxed and open with plenty of time for questions and conversation. It will conclude with a tasting of our wines. Come and be involved in this exciting and dynamic industry!
After the tour and tasting you will have the opportunity to stroll through the vines in your own time, or sit and relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the fantastic views.
Why not add a picnic to enjoy after the tour and enjoy a range of locally produced cheeses, salads, charcuterie, sausage rolls and accompaniments?
Vegetarian option available - please tick the pop up form that follows if required. Wine and soft drinks can be purchased on the day. If you'd prefer to bring your own food then please let us know.

In the event of us needing to cancel a tour date due to ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS we will contact you in advance and offer a new date or full refund. Otherwise tours and picnics are non-refundable.

Come and experience our vineyard first hand and enjoy breathtaking views across to the South Downs in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Your tour will be led by the owners who will introduce you to English viticulture and the challenges and excitement of making wine in this country. Your visit will conclude with a tasting of the current wines. The tour lasts for around an hour, and you can opt to book onto a delicious picnic of local produce to enjoy afterwards, perhaps with a glass of your favourite wine! Tour dates are made available on the website from January each year for the season ahead.
